Popping the cherry as the first solo artist EP to release on The Space Between Us is WakeUpNeo. No stranger to the label, WakeUpNeo featured on the Hybrida compilation from earlier this year. For this 6-track EP, WakeUpNeo explores a diverse range of atmospheres - from the downtempo and melodic to those making us dream of the sweatiest depths of the club.

Opener 'Awareness' crawls along at an intriguing pace; tension gradually building along the hypnotic acid bassline. Snappy electro drum work, choppy vocals and emotive synth layers feature in the title track 'Fractions', creating an atmosphere somewhere between dreamy and dancefloor-worthy.

'Paris 2 Berlin via Brisvegas' is a cheeky party-starter, paying homage to Infernal's 2005 club banger. Bright, summery breaks and washed-out ambient tones feature in 'Poltergiest' - making us want to sip cocktails overlooking somewhere that COVID-19 currently won't permit us to be.

'Boomin'', is a bassy-heavy roller with trancey synths - a heady combination. Closer 'Mineral Acid' should come with its own warning label - it's a high-voltage, razor-sharp acid-electro dance floor weapon. Use at your own risk :)
